📘Easy summary
Graphical User Interface development allows programs to interact with users through visual elements like windows, buttons, labels and text boxes. GUIs make applications more user-friendly and easier to use than command-line interfaces, especially for non-technical users; they improve usability by giving visual feedback and reducing the need to remember complex commands, and are used in desktop software, web and mobile apps. Tkinter is Python's standard (built-in) GUI toolkit that comes pre-installed; it provides classes and functions to create windows, buttons, labels, entry fields and other widgets, is easy to learn and lightweight, supports event-driven programming, and suits small to medium-sized applications. In a simple GUI: tk.Tk() creates the main window, Label displays text, Entry takes user input, Button performs an action, and mainloop() keeps the window running.
⭐Key points
- GUI = visual interaction.
- Tkinter is built-in and lightweight.
- Tk(), Label, Entry, Button, mainloop().
